  2. Have sessions with me as well as by yourself. For example you can have 2 sessions with me at The Private PT Studio and the other sessions at your home or local gym, whilst still adhering to the plan I provide for you.

We will explore a range of behaviours that you may partake in (e.g. diet, sleep, step count, activity levels, time spent watching TV, alcohol consumption, tobacco use etc.) and assess if the time invested hinders or facilitate in the process of reaching your goals.

B. Taster Session

The Taster session is now scheduled separately, occurring on a different day following the consultation. This 60-minute session allows for a comprehensive assessment of your strengths and weaknesses, aiding us both in making an informed decision about our compatibility for the upcoming 9+ weeks of training together.

    Totally Private environment. There will be no other trainers or clients working out or making use of the space whilst you’re booked in.

    The preliminary process involving assessments and exercise testing are or inspired by gold standard methods utilised in scientific study.

    Your Initial assessments will not only aid us acquire a baseline but will be the foundation of your program. Frequent assessments after will allow me to evaluate your progress, assess the effectiveness of your plan and if any changes need to made to get you the best results possible.

    4. The Science

    The principles of exercise (frequency, variation, specificity, recovery, Individuality etc.) is just the start. I am an evidence based practitioner and therefore scientific research carried out plays a big part in the decision making and prescription process.

    I have good understanding of human physiology and nutrition and I feel what makes a good exercise practitioner is being able to apply the research to each individual.

    I strongly believe that results you get are attributed in the quality of the plan being followed. Thus, I only offer one to one training with a tailored plan.
